Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Eggs 1 pc
Chocolate 200 g
Walnuts 70 g
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Puff pastry 400 g

Recipe instructions

We prepare products for puff pastry roll with chocolate. To defrost the dough, leave it at room temperature for about half an hour.

Sprinkle the table (or a sheet of parchment on the table) with flour and lightly roll out the dough on it.

Place the chocolate bar exactly in the middle of the puff pastry.

Place pieces of nuts on the chocolate.

We cut out the corners of the dough. We make cuts on the dough (2 cm wide strips): we start from the chocolate bar to the edge of the dough, cutting a little along the bias.

We fold the resulting cut parts of the dough onto the chocolate bar crosswise, braiding it.

Grease baking parchment with oil.

Transfer the layer cake to a baking sheet covered with greased parchment. Beat the egg and brush the top of the pie. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake the puff roll with chocolate for 20-25 minutes.
