Wheat flour 220 g
Eggs 3 pc
Vegetable oil 500 ml
Powdered sugar 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Letʼs start with the eggs. Separate the whites from the yolks. Place the whites in a deep bowl, add salt and beat well into a foam with a whisk or mixer. For the yolks we use a small cup — they need to be lightly mixed with a fork.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour the yolks into the bowl with the whites and gently mix with a whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour the flour sifted through a sieve into the bowl with the eggs and knead the dough. It turns out smooth. Form a ball, wrap it in cling film and leave to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a thin layer, approximately 0.5 cm thick.

Step 5

Step 5
Using a curly knife, carefully cut out diamonds of equal size. To do this, we cut the layer with a knife diagonally from right to left and vice versa.

Step 6

Step 6
We make a small cut in each diamond and thread one tip through it.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour oil into the frying pan and heat it well. Place several pieces at a time and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the finished products from the pan and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar while still hot.
