Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry donuts with condensed milk inside? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the dough. Sift the flour into a deep bowl, add the instant yeast and stir. Read about how to properly work with different types of yeast in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Heat the milk to 40°. It should be warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die in the future. Add sugar and salt to milk and stir until completely dissolved.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour the milk mixture and vegetable oil into the bowl with the flour and yeast.

Step 4

Step 4
Start kneading the dough using a spoon. Depending on the quality of the flour, it may take a little more or a little less. Read about the properties of flour in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 5

Step 5
When it becomes difficult to knead the dough with a spoon, continue kneading with your hands. It is more convenient to do this on the table. The dough should be soft, not tight. Make a bun out of the dough, place it in a bowl, cover with a bag or towel and leave to rise for one hour in a warm place.

Step 6

Step 6
After an hour, punch down the dough and shape it into a sausage. Cut the sausage into equal parts. The size of the donuts will depend on the size of the pieces.

Step 7

Step 7
Take one piece of dough at a time and knead it with your hands into a flat cake. Place boiled condensed milk in the middle of each flatbread.

Step 8

Step 8
Seal the edges of the flatbread tightly to prevent the filling from leaking out during frying.

Step 9

Step 9
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan, frying pan or other suitable container. I used a cast iron loaf pan. The links at the end of the recipe will help you choose a frying pan and oil. Turn the heat to below medium and place the balls in the oil, seam side down. Fry the donuts on both sides until golden brown. They usually turn over on their own. Remove the donuts and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat. Bon appetit!
