Step 1

Step 1
How to fry tortillas with potatoes in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. How to make the filling for flatbreads with potatoes? Peel the onion, chop and fry in vegetable oil until transparent.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the potatoes in running water with a brush, peel, rinse and boil in hot salted water until tender — about 25 minutes. Drain the water, mash the potatoes with the addition of 25 g of butter. Next, add the fried onions and stir. The filling is ready. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the dough.

Step 3

Step 3
Place sour cream in a bowl, add soda and salt, stir.

Step 4

Step 4
Gradually add the flour sifted through a sieve. Start kneading the dough with a spoon.

Step 5

Step 5
When it becomes difficult to knead with a spoon, transfer the dough to a floured work surface and continue kneading the soft dough. Let it sit for 10 minutes to rest, covering it with cling film to prevent it from drying out. You may need a little less or more flour for the dough, since different manufacturers have different properties.

Step 6

Step 6
Divide the dough into three equal parts. Lightly sprinkle the table and pieces of dough with flour. Take one piece and roll it into a flat cake with a rolling pin. Place the potato filling in the middle, which you also visually divide into three equal parts.

Step 7

Step 7
Pinch the edges of the cake into a pouch.

Step 8

Step 8
Roll out the flatbread with potatoes and onions using a rolling pin, being careful not to tear it. It is possible on the one hand.

Step 9

Step 9
Place the tortilla, seam side down, on a hot, dry frying pan. The fire is moderate. Fry the tortilla for 50-60 seconds until brown spots form.

Step 10

Step 10
Flip the tortilla and cook for another 50-60 seconds until cooked through. So fry all the tortillas.

Step 11

Step 11
Grease the finished cakes with potatoes without yeast with still hot butter on both sides. Our flatbreads are ready. Bon appetit!
