How to bake cornmeal bread in the oven? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Use premium quality wheat flour. You can replace fresh yeast with dry yeast at a ratio of 1:3, that is, you will need 6-7 g of dry yeast.

Melt the butter first and cool it.

Dissolve fresh yeast, sugar and salt in warm milk. Leave in a warm place for 20 minutes until a lush, foamy cap appears on the surface. If the cap still does not appear, then either the yeast is spoiled or the milk is overheated and the dough will not rise.

Add the egg to the dough and stir until smooth. Add sifted wheat flour and stir until smooth.

Next, sift the corn flour with turmeric, pour in the melted butter and knead the dough, adding a little wheat flour if necessary.
