Choose sweet varieties of apples, then you don’t have to put sugar in the filling. Cottage cheese is suitable for any fat content, just keep in mind that the calorie content of the dish will depend on this.

Wash the apples, dry them, cut them into quarters. Cut out the core with the seeds and remove the skin from the slices.
