Cottage cheese 200 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry cottage cheese donuts in oil? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Break an egg into a bowl and add sugar to it. Mix everything with a whisk.

Step 2

Step 2
Then add the required amount of cottage cheese and mix everything until smooth. It is best to use cottage cheese, rubbed through a sieve. Thanks to this, there will be no pieces of cottage cheese in the finished donuts, and the consistency will be evenly tender.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour a little baking soda into a tablespoon and quench it with vinegar. To do this, drop a little vinegar into a spoon with soda and, when the mass foams well, add it to the dough. Stir.

Step 4

Step 4
Sift the flour through a sieve and add a little to the dough, gradually mixing it in. You should get a dough that practically does not stick to your hands. When the flour is almost incorporated into the dough, you can turn it out onto a lightly floured table and knead it with your hands. It is better not to overfill the dough with flour, otherwise the finished donuts will turn out tough.

Step 5

Step 5
Roll the finished dough into small balls, approximately the size of a walnut. If the dough is a little sticky, you can grease your hands with vegetable oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Pour vegetable oil into a small but deep frying pan. You can also use a deep saucepan with a thick bottom. There should be enough oil so that the donuts fry freely in it. Heat the oil until hot. Place the dough balls into the hot oil. Do this very carefully so as not to burn your hands. It is convenient to lower the balls one at a time. Fry them over medium heat until delicious, golden brown.

Step 7

Step 7
Then, using a knife or fork, turn the donuts over to the other side and fry the same way for another couple of minutes. If so much oil has been poured that the donuts float freely in it, then when ready, they themselves turn over with the raw part down.

Step 8

Step 8
Place finished donuts on paper towels. This will remove excess oil from them and prevent them from being too greasy. Sprinkle the finished cottage cheese donuts, fried in a frying pan, with powdered sugar and enjoy. Bon appetit!
