How to make potato casserole with minced chicken and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. Olive oil can be replaced with sunflower oil. Take a tomato with a thick skin so that it retains its shape when cutting.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onions, wash them, grate them on a fine grater.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the parsley, dry it, chop it finely. Dill or cilantro will also work.

Step 4

Step 4
Combine minced chicken with grated onion and parsley, add salt and ground black pepper. Mix well. Add greens to the minced meat as desired.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the carrots, wash them, cut into slices.

Step 6

Step 6
Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into slices.

Step 7

Step 7
Combine the prepared vegetables in a bowl, add salt, herbs or any spices to taste. Drizzle olive oil over vegetables and stir. Turn on the oven at 190 C.

Step 8

Step 8
Grease a baking dish with a little olive oil. For useful information about choosing a form, read the link at the end of the recipe. My mold size is 27*17 cm. Place half of the vegetables on the bottom of the mold.

Step 9

Step 9
Spread the minced meat evenly over the vegetables. It is convenient to do this with wet hands so that the minced chicken sticks less.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the remaining vegetables on top of the minced meat.

Step 11

Step 11
Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 190 C for approximately 35-40 minutes. The cooking time and mode may vary, as they depend on the operating characteristics of a particular oven. Therefore, install them based on your equipment. Information on this topic can be read in the article at the link at the end of the recipe. The cooking time will also be affected by the type of potato and the material of the mold.

Step 12

Step 12
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. You can take any cheese: hard, semi-hard, soft. The main thing is that it is tasty and without milk fat substitutes.

Step 13

Step 13
Beat sour cream and egg in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.

Step 14

Step 14
Add grated cheese to the resulting mass, mix well.

Step 15

Step 15
Remove the casserole dish from the oven. Carefully, so as not to burn yourself, remove the foil and check the readiness of the potatoes. It should be almost soft. Spread the sour cream filling over the top of the casserole.

Step 16

Step 16
Dry the pre-washed tomato, cut into circles or semi-circles and place on top of the filling.

Step 17

Step 17
Place the pan back in the oven for about 10 minutes to firm up and brown the top of the casserole.

Step 18
