Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Sugar 150 g
Wheat flour 250 g
Butter 250 g
Eggs 5 pc
Baking powder 10 g
Dark chocolate 70 g
Pears 1 pc
Ground cinnamon 10 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
• Grind the butter with sugar until smooth (the butter should be soft, at room temperature. Remove it from the refrigerator about an hour before cooking) I used a regular fork, but you can use a blender • Add 5 eggs (add in one at a time) and that’s it mix well with a whisk

Step 2

Step 2
• Now you need to add cinnamon with baking powder. Cinnamon is optional in this recipe. Itʼs a matter of everyoneʼs taste, some people like it, some donʼt. If desired, it can be replaced with vanelin or vanilla sugar • Add flour (after sifting) and mix

Step 3

Step 3
• All that remains is to add finely chopped dark chocolate (you can grate it) and mix everything thoroughly

Step 4

Step 4
• The dough is ready! Grease a baking pan with a diameter of 22 cm with butter (I used sunflower), pour the dough into the pan

Step 5

Step 5
• Cut the pear into small strips (as shown in the photo) and place it on top of the dough in a circle (you can press it lightly into the dough) • Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C. Don’t forget that everyone’s oven is different and some may require more or less time to cook. Check readiness with a wooden skewer (toothpick)
