Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Salt (pinch) to taste
Sugar 2 tbsp
Apples 1 pc
Cinnamon to taste
Wheat flour 11 tbsp
Butter (2 tbsp + 1 tbsp for caramel) 30 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Chicken eggs 1 pc
Cottage cheese (1 pack) 180 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Knead the dough from cottage cheese, butter, eggs and flour. Donʼt forget to add salt and baking powder. The dough turns out tender. We leave it in the refrigerator for now.

Step 2

Step 2
From butter (1 tbsp), water (2 tbsp) and sugar (2 tbsp) cook caramel in a frying pan. A little thick. Add the diced apple, stir, boil, fry for three minutes and leave to cool.

Step 3

Step 3
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut out circles using a glass or molding ring of a suitable diameter. Then place the cooled apple filling in the middle of the dough and sprinkle it with cinnamon.

Step 4

Step 4
Then we mold the edges of the circle, forming a pie like a dumpling or a calzone pizza, tucking the edges with your fingers. I got 8 pieces, small and neat, I used only half of the dough! Before baking, brush the pies with milk to get a golden crust.

Step 5

Step 5
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 170-180 degrees. Remove the finished pies from the oven and leave to cool, then sprinkle them with powdered sugar and cinnamon. All that remains is to put the kettle on and call everyone to the table. Bon appetit!
