Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pear pie in the oven? Measure out the required ingredients. It is better to take a juicy and sweet pear. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.

Step 2

Step 2
Any chocolate without additives will do: bitter or milk. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.

Step 3

Step 3
Combine soft butter with sugar and beat with a mixer until smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Step 4
Beat eggs into butter mixture. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is better to add eggs one at a time, beating after each until smooth. This will allow the eggs to mix more evenly into the mixture.

Step 5

Step 5
Sift flour mixed with baking powder into the dough. As a result of sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the cake will rise well during baking. Read about the properties of flour, as well as the nuances of working with baking powder, in separate articles following the links at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
Stir the dough until completely homogeneous. It turns out viscous, with the consistency of thick sour cream. Turn on the oven to preheat at 180 C.

Step 7

Step 7
Wash the pear and dry it. Peel the pear from the seeds; if desired, you can cut off the skin. Cut the pear into small pieces.

Step 8

Step 8
Add chocolate, pear and pumpkin seeds to the dough. Pumpkin seeds can be replaced with any nuts. It will be delicious with cedar. Other nuts can be lightly fried and finely chopped beforehand. Mix the dough well.

Step 9

Step 9
Cover the bottom of the baking dish with parchment, grease the sides with a thin layer of butter or vegetable oil and dust with flour. I have a mold with a diameter of 20 cm. For information on choosing a mold, read the article after the description of the recipe.

Step 10

Step 10
Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 C for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Check doneness with a wooden skewer; it should come out clean from the middle of the pie. Cooking time and temperature are individual, as they depend on the operating characteristics of the oven. Important information on this topic is in the article at the link after the steps. Remove the finished pie from the oven, let cool and remove from the pan.

Step 11

Step 11
Cut the pear pie into portions and serve. Bon appetit!
