Slow Cooker Moist Berry Pie

Moist berry pie in a slow cooker — easy and delicious. Lately, for some reason, all my pies are either yeast or sponge. Today I decided to change things up and make a moist berry pie in a slow cooker. To tell you the truth, moist pies are rare in our house. They are baked once a year, or even once a year and a half. And today that rare occasion came. I want to share this recipe with you. The pie is not fluffy, but tasty, sweet and tender. Four of us ate the pie in one sitting :)

Salt (1 pinch) to taste
Sugar (2 tbsp. into the dough and 1 tbsp. for sprinkling berries.) 3 tbsp
Wheat flour 1 cup
Sour cream 150 g
Mayonnaise 150 g
Chicken eggs 2 pc
Soda 0.5 tsp
Berries 1 cup

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
If you use frozen berries, defrost them first and dry them on a paper towel.

Step 2

Step 2
Mix sour cream and mayonnaise

Step 3

Step 3
Add eggs and mix well until smooth.

Step 4

Step 4
Add 2 tbsp. granulated sugar and salt, mix.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix soda with flour, sift into the dough.

Step 6

Step 6
Gently stir the dough so that there are no lumps left. Leave the dough to stand for 10 minutes for the flour to swell.

Step 7

Step 7
Grease the multicooker bowl with butter or margarine.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour in half the dough. Shake the bowl lightly to distribute the batter evenly

Step 9

Step 9
Place the berries on top of the dough, do not press in. Sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar.

Step 10

Step 10
Carefully spoon the remaining batter over the berries. Take your time, take a spoonful of batter and pour over the berries, then another spoonful of batter, and so on. If you pour all the dough into the middle, then you will hardly be able to distribute it evenly without drowning the berries. Turn the multicooker into baking mode for 1 hour. After an hour, carefully turn the cake over and bake for another 30 minutes.

Step 11

Step 11
This is how the pie turned out. Check readiness with a wooden stick.

Step 12

Step 12
You can serve the pie as is, or you can sprinkle it with powder and decorate with berries.
