Yeast pie with lingonberries — tasty, healthy, simple! Yeast pie with lingonberries according to the proposed recipe turns out to be very aromatic, juicy and tasty. There are many options for this simple baking, I have offered you the simplest one (provided that you have already prepared the dough, you can buy it at the grocery store due to lack of time). Lingonberries can be used both fresh and frozen. The main condition is that all products must be at room temperature. A pie with whole berries turns out more interesting than with crushed ones. Potato starch 2 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare a yeast pie with lingonberries, take ready-made yeast dough (I took starch dough, I recently posted the recipe for it, look in my book — a very good dough for any baking). For the filling, prepare lingonberries — fresh or frozen, it doesn’t matter, sugar and starch.

Step 2

Step 2
For the test, take the products from the list.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour warm milk over the yeast and sugar and let it rise.

Step 4

Step 4
Add egg and butter, stir.

Step 5

Step 5
Sift the flour and, gradually kneading, add along with the starch. Knead soft dough.

Step 6

Step 6
Let the yeast dough rise.

Step 7

Step 7
Divide it into two unequal parts — 1/4 and 3/4. Roll out most of it into a layer of size depending on the size of the baking dish. Need to. so that the edges of the dough form the sides of the pie.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the washed and drained lingonberries. If you take frozen lingonberries, you need to defrost them so that they are not cold and allow the dough to rise.

Step 9

Step 9
Add sugar on top of the berries.

Step 10

Step 10
And sprinkle the surface of the sugar well with the specified amount of potato starch. Starch acts as a thickener.

Step 11

Step 11
Smooth the surface of the filling.

Step 12

Step 12
Roll out a smaller part of the dough into an oval and make transverse cuts in the form of a grid. Stretch the mesh over the surface.

Step 13

Step 13
Seal the edges of the pie. Brush it with beaten egg. Place in a cold oven and turn on the heat at 160 degrees.

Step 14

Step 14
Bake the pie for 25-30 minutes. Check the condition of your oven and the degree of browning of the lingonberry pie. I ended up with a lot of filling, some of the juice leaked out, but it even turned out interesting, because... It gave an additional effect — when I took the pie out of the oven and lifted it from the bottom, all the lingonberry-sugar sauce sank and the pie was additionally soaked in it.

Step 15

Step 15
Let the pie cool in the pan to absorb any sauce that has leaked out. Then take it out onto a plate and cut into portions. Serve for tea! Bon appetit!
