Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make custard pies with yeast, fried in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Since the dough cooks very quickly, the filling for the pies needs to be prepared earlier so that you can immediately proceed to frying them.

Step 2

Step 2
Any filling for pies made from choux yeast dough is suitable. Very tasty pies are made with minced meat. Add finely chopped onions, salt and ground black pepper to the minced meat and mix the filling. The filling is ready.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour the sifted wheat flour into a deep bowl. Thanks to sifting, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished pies will turn out more tender and fluffy. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
Dissolve sugar and dry yeast in a glass of warm water and stir. The water should be just warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Read about all the intricacies of working with yeast in a separate article (link at the end of the recipe).

Step 5

Step 5
Add salt to a bowl with flour and pour in vegetable oil. Boil water in a kettle.

Step 6

Step 6
Pour a glass of boiling water into the bowl with flour and immediately start stirring the dough with a spoon.

Step 7

Step 7
When the mixture begins to come together a little and has cooled slightly, pour the yeast mixture into the bowl with the flour.

Step 8

Step 8
Knead the dough with a spoon first. When it begins to form a ball, place it on a floured surface and knead into an elastic, soft dough. If necessary, add flour a little at a time, but do not overwhelm the dough.

Step 9

Step 9
You can immediately proceed to shaping the pies. Divide the dough into several parts and roll them into sausages. Cut the sausages into equal pieces.

Step 10

Step 10
Roll each piece into flat cakes and place the prepared filling on them. Seal the edges of the tortillas together to form pies.

Step 11

Step 11
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right oil for frying, in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Place the pies in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides over medium heat.

Step 12

Step 12
Serve the pies hot. Bon appetit!
