How to bake puff pastry pies with meat in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Puff pastry can be used both store-bought and homemade. I have a purchased one, a package weighing 450 grams. It contains 4 sheets of dough — from one sheet you will get two pies, a total of eight pieces. Thaw the dough at room temperature for 50-60 minutes. Mix minced chicken in a bowl with chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste.

Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance. Pour in cold water to make the minced meat juicy and mix everything thoroughly with a spoon.

Take one sheet of dough, place it on the table and roll it out lightly with a rolling pin, slightly enlarging the short side. It should be a rectangle.

Cut the dough sheet crosswise into two pieces with a knife. Lay out the filling in a long strip, not reaching the edges.
