How to bake jellied pie with eggs and onions with sour cream? Since it is better to start by preparing the filling, prepare the necessary ingredients for this — eggs and green onions. Also preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Boil the eggs hard. Peel the finished eggs and cut into small pieces.

Rinse green onions in cold water and dry with a paper towel. Chop it finely.

Mix eggs and onions. The pie filling is ready.

Now you can start the test. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Sift the flour. Add baking powder. If you donʼt have baking powder, you can replace it with half a teaspoon of baking soda slaked with vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly.

Add sour cream, mayonnaise and salt to the eggs and mix until smooth.

Grease the mold with vegetable oil. I used a cast iron mold with a diameter of 26 cm. But it is better to take a mold with a smaller diameter, then the cake will turn out more fluffier. Pour half of the dough into the mold. Place the filling.

Pour the second half of the dough on top of the filling. Place the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. You can also check the readiness of the pie using a toothpick: insert a toothpick into the center of the pie. If it is dry, then the cake is ready.
