Potato 500 g
Hard cheese 80 g
Bay leaf 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil 20 g
Pork 400 g
Dry spices to taste
Kefir 150 ml

How to make pork with potatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose boneless pork meat. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt. You can use any cheese you like. The taste of cheese will give the dish a special zest.

Cut the pork meat into small pieces and beat a little with a kitchen hammer. Then transfer the meat to a separate bowl.

Peel the onions and carrots. Rinse and grind. Cut the onion into half rings or a little smaller and add to the bowl with the meat. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Add carrots to the meat as well. Pour kefir over everything. Add some salt and spices. Mix all ingredients well and leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Kefir will make the meat softer.

Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. It can be glass, metal or, like mine, ceramic. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Cut the peeled potatoes into slices and place in the prepared pan.

Place marinated meat with onions and carrots on top of the potatoes. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes. During this time, the meat will bake and release juice, which will flow down onto the potatoes and imbue them with its taste and aroma.

Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes so that the cheese melts and browns a little.
