Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pork under a potato coat with cheese? Prepare everything you need for this. Peel the potatoes and rinse them to remove dirt. If the pork is frozen, then it must be removed from the freezer in advance so that it thaws at room temperature. Choose boneless meat.

Step 2

Step 2
For baking, take any heat-resistant form. It can be glass, metal or ceramic. Lightly grease the bottom of the pan with vegetable oil. Cut the pork into pieces and place in an even layer along the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle the meat with salt and spices.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and cut into half rings or slightly smaller. Place the chopped onion over the surface of the meat.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the potatoes with a brush under running water, peel them. Grate raw potatoes on a coarse grater.

Step 5

Step 5
Do not leave the grated potatoes for too long, otherwise they will begin to darken. Immediately place the grated potatoes over the surface of the meat and distribute them evenly. Salt it a little.

Step 6

Step 6
Cut the washed tomatoes in half and remove the stem. Then cut the tomatoes into slices. Place the tomato slices over the potatoes.

Step 7

Step 7
Place grated cheese on the top layer. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 45-50 minutes. The exact time depends on the type of potato and the operating characteristics of your oven. Read more about this at the end of the recipe. If you donʼt want the cheese to brown, sprinkle it on at the end of baking. Then it will just melt a little.

Step 8

Step 8
Meat under a fur coat with cheese is ready! Remove the pan from the oven and place the dish on plates. Serve hot.

Step 9

Step 9
It turns out very tasty and satisfying! Bon appetit!
