Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake potatoes in a sleeve? Prepare the indicated products. Choose potatoes of the same size, take small carrots. One stalk of celery is enough, medium-sized onion. A mixture of herbs to taste, you can take it ready-made, or you can add your favorite dry herbs. You can avoid dried tomatoes completely. Prepare a baking sleeve and turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the potatoes and carrots and peel the skins. Rinse again and dry. If you are preparing potatoes for a family dinner, you can simply cut them into plates; for a more impressive presentation, you can use a corrugated knife (that’s what I took). Cut the carrots into circles.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash and cut the celery. Peel the onions and garlic. Cut the onion into half rings, pass the garlic through a press.

Step 4

Step 4
Take a baking sleeve and place prepared vegetables in it — potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and garlic.

Step 5

Step 5
Add dried herbs and tomatoes, salt and ground black pepper to the bag. When adding salt, keep in mind that it is also contained in mayonnaise, so as not to oversalt.

Step 6

Step 6
Place mayonnaise and pour in vegetable oil.

Step 7

Step 7
Stir the contents of the bag so that the spices and mayonnaise are evenly distributed. Tie the bag or secure it with clips. Use toothpicks to make several holes. Place the bag of potatoes on a baking sheet or baking dish in case they leak. Place the pan in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes. Determine the exact time and temperature using your oven!

Step 8

Step 8
Serve the finished potatoes with vegetables hot. This is a fairly filling dish and can stand alone at lunch (I don’t recommend it for dinner). If desired, you can serve it as a side dish for chicken or meat. For these potatoes, offer a fresh vegetable salad or homemade pickles.
