Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to cook potato soup with meatballs? Prepare the following ingredients. My minced meat is homemade from turkey and pork, you can use whatever you like. I already have onions and garlic in it, if you use minced meat from the store, then add finely chopped onions and garlic to it. You will also need 1.5 — 2 liters of water or broth.

Step 2

Step 2
Fill the selected pan with broth and place over high heat. Wash and peel the potatoes, rinse. Cut clean potatoes into cubes. When the water in the pan boils, add the chopped potatoes to it. After the water boils, reduce the heat to medium. If foam appears, remove it with a slotted spoon.

Step 3

Step 3
Before the broth boils, peel and wash the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a medium grater or chop them too. Heat a frying pan with oil over medium heat and fry the vegetables for a few minutes. Once the water in the pot with the potatoes is boiling, add the sautéed vegetables to the pot. Cook the soup after boiling again, covered, for 10 — 15 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
Roll the minced meat into small meatballs with wet hands. After the specified cooking time, add the prepared meat balls to it. Add salt and ground black pepper. Cook the soup after the meatballs have risen, uncovered, for 10 minutes if they are 1.5 centimeters in diameter. If they are like walnuts, then you need to cook them for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Rinse fresh dill with cold running water and dry with a paper towel. Finely chop the dill. Remove the finished soup from the heat. Add chopped fresh dill to the finished soup, stir, cover with a lid. Let the soup sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Step 6

Step 6
If desired, the soup can be sprinkled with fresh chopped herbs when serving. Bon appetit!
