For the base:

Salt to taste

Dill 50 g
cucumbers 2 pc
Boiled sausage 300 g

For beet broth:

Water 2 l
Beet 2 pc
Table vinegar 1 tbsp

To submit:

How to make cold borscht with sausage? Prepare your food. Pre-boil the potatoes and eggs and cool; you will need the beets raw. If possible, choose sausage of good quality, the highest grade.

Wash the beets well and peel them. Grate it on a coarse grater.

Fill the beets with cold, clean water and place on the stove over low heat. As soon as the water with the beets boils, pour vinegar into it — it will help preserve the bright color of the beets. Turn the heat to low and simmer the beets for about 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and leave the beet broth to cool. Taste it and add vinegar and possibly sugar to taste — the broth should be tasty.

Boil the potatoes in their skins. How to boil potatoes in their jackets? Wash the tubers well, pour cold water in a saucepan and cook over low heat. After boiling, cook the potatoes for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size and variety. Check readiness with a sharp knife — it will easily pierce the tuber. Cool the boiled potatoes completely, peel and cut into small cubes.

How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Cut the peeled eggs into the same cubes as the potatoes.

Peel the sausage from the casing and cut it again into cubes. Dishes cut into identical pieces look more aesthetically pleasing.

Wash the cucumbers and cut off the ends. Cut the cucumbers into cubes. Alternatively, you can grate them on a coarse grater. Be sure to try to see if the cucumbers are bitter — otherwise they will ruin the taste of the soup.
