How to cook a simple soup with stew? To do this, you will need the most budget products, which are almost always in stock. I will add rice to the soup. But it can be replaced with vermicelli, pearl barley or lentils. In any case, you will get a tasty and satisfying first course. Peel onions, carrots and potatoes and rinse in running water to remove dirt.

To prepare the soup, pour water into a saucepan and place on fire. Bring it to a boil.

While the water is heating, cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Rinse the prepared rice several times in cold water. Then drain all the water from it. Add rice and potatoes to a pot of boiling water. Leave to cook for 15 minutes.

At this time, prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots.

Heat a small frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil onto it. Add chopped onions and carrots. Stirring, fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
