Minced meat 250 g
Dill 30 g
Vermicelli 20 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make meatball soup in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Vegetables — carrots, onions, potatoes — I take medium size. Vermicelli can be replaced with small pasta or rice if desired. My minced meat is homemade pork/chicken. If the minced meat is frozen, defrost it first. Vegetable oil will be needed for sautéing vegetables; you can omit it when cooking. The greens are fresh, I take dill.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and turn on the “Frying” mode. Chop the peeled carrots and onions: chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry the vegetables in oil until golden brown. Turn off the "Fry" mode.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into cubes. Add to the onions and carrots and mix everything. If you decide to do without frying vegetables, then immediately place the prepared vegetables — onions, carrots, potatoes — into the multicooker bowl.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour 1.5 liters of hot water over the vegetables. Close the lid and turn on the “Soup” mode for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
I have minced meat with onions, if the minced meat is without onions, then you can finely chop and add it, you can also add an egg and breadcrumbs to the minced meat for softness (this is optional). With wet hands, pinch off small pieces of minced meat and roll into meatballs. Size of meatballs according to your own taste and wishes.

Step 6

Step 6
After 20 minutes, add meatballs to the soup and add salt. Close the multicooker with a lid and continue cooking in the “Soup” mode for another 10 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Add vermicelli to the soup, stir, add salt if necessary. You can add other favorite spices. Cook the soup for another 5 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
After five minutes, turn off the multicooker. Rinse fresh dill under running water, shake off excess liquid and chop. Add chopped dill to the soup, close the lid and let the soup sit for a few more minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the meatball soup hot with fresh herbs and fresh bread. This soup is also suitable for a childrenʼs menu.
