Cottage cheese 2 tbsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make trout with cottage cheese? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can take cream cheese without additives, like mine, or with additives.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the trout thoroughly in running water, removing mucus from the skin. Pat the fish dry with paper towels. Cut into equal, not very thick steaks. It is better to use ready-made portioned steaks. In the case when there is a whole piece of fillet, it is most convenient to cut it into steaks in a semi-frozen state. Then the cut will be more even.

Step 3

Step 3
In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, juniper, dried herbs, a mixture of peppers and salt. You can replace juniper berries with allspice peas. Pour warm boiled water into the curd mass.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything until smooth. You will get a semi-thick runny sauce. You can adjust the desired thickness of the sauce by adding more or less water.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the resulting sauce over the steaks and leave to marinate for 20 minutes. Spread the sauce over all the steaks so they marinate evenly.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the fish in a baking dish. There is no need to grease the pan with anything, since the trout will already release a lot of fat when baking. Transfer the steaks to a baking dish. Top with cheese sauce. Bake the fish in an oven preheated to 190°C for 25-30 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Serve the finished fish with any side dish. Bon appetit!
