Wheat flour 0.5 cup
Milk 300 ml
Eggs 1 pc
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Soda 0.5 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make thin pancakes using soda? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. To prepare pancakes with milk and soda, take a deep bowl in which it will be convenient to knead the dough. Pour the required amount of milk into it. Add the chicken egg and mix with a whisk. Wash the egg first with baking soda in warm water, as there may be harmful bacteria on its surface. Take milk of any fat content.

Step 2

Step 2
Add a pinch of salt and a little sugar to the milk, mix everything. If you like sweet pancakes, you can add a little more sugar.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour baking soda into a bowl and fill with vinegar. It will begin to hiss and foam. Then pour slaked soda into the prepared dough. Why is soda added to pancakes? It makes them airy, fluffy and rosy.

Step 4

Step 4
Sift the flour through a sieve or using a special mug. Pour in the vegetable oil and add the flour in portions to the liquid part, stirring each time. Since flour from different manufacturers may have different properties, you may need less or more of it.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix the dough well until smooth so that there are no lumps of flour left. Leave the finished dough to stand on the table for 10-15 minutes so that the flour gluten in it dissolves. During this time, bubbles will begin to appear in the dough.

Step 6

Step 6
The batter should be liquid enough to make thin pancakes.

Step 7

Step 7
Heat the pancake pan until hot and grease it with a little oil for the first pancake. Pour a ladle of batter onto it and spread it over the entire surface of the pan. You should not pour a lot of dough. As the dough spreads across the pan, add little by little. Cook the pancakes for a minute on each side. In this way, prepare pancakes from all the dough.

Step 8

Step 8
Usually the edges of finished pancakes begin to dry out. Therefore, place the finished pancakes on a plate and cover with a large lid. Under the lid they will not dry out and will remain soft and tender. These pancakes are great for wrapping delicious fillings in them. Bon appetit!
