Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake chocolate pancakes with milk and cocoa? Very simple! The dough is kneaded in a few minutes. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take the highest grade flour. Eggs and milk should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator in advance. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content.

Step 2

Step 2
In a bowl, combine room temperature eggs and sugar. Whisk until smooth. Wash the eggs first to remove dirt from them.

Step 3

Step 3
Add sour cream, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and salt and mix again.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour in milk at room temperature and stir again.

Step 5

Step 5
Add the flour sifted with cocoa. Mix the dough, breaking up any lumps. You can add only a third of the milk, then add the flour and cocoa and mix. Dilute the resulting viscous mixture with the remaining milk. This way you will definitely avoid the appearance of lumps. Remember that you may need less or more flour, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
The dough should be slightly viscous and flowing. Let the dough sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the gluten to develop in the flour.

Step 7

Step 7
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Pour some batter into a ladle and quickly spread over the entire surface of the pan. Bake the pancake for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then turn over to the other side and fry for the same amount. Fry the rest of the pancakes in the same way. The exact number of pancakes depends on the diameter of your pan. How to choose the right frying pan, as well as vegetable oil, can be found in separate articles using the links at the end of the recipe.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the finished pancakes in a stack on a plate. If you wish, you can grease the pancakes with butter. I poured chocolate sauce over the pancakes and decorated with fresh berries. Bon appetit!
