Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients for preparing buckwheat with green beans. You will need: buckwheat, onions, carrots, green beans (fresh or frozen), salt, ground black pepper, vegetable oil and water for cooking buckwheat porridge.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Wash the carrots, peel and cut into thin strips. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add chopped vegetables and fry over medium heat until the carrots are soft and the onions are translucent.

Step 3

Step 3
Add green beans to the fried vegetables in a frying pan. It is not necessary to defrost it first. Lightly fry everything together, stirring frequently.

Step 4

Step 4
Salt and pepper the vegetables, stir and cover the pan with a lid. Simmer the vegetables over low heat until the beans are completely cooked (this will take about 15-20 minutes). The green beans should become completely soft.

Step 5

Step 5
Rinse the buckwheat thoroughly, put it in a saucepan with a thick bottom, pour in water, add salt (you can add a small pinch of sugar to balance the taste). Place on the fire, bring to a boil, remove the foam and cook on the lowest heat for about 15-20 minutes until the porridge is completely cooked.

Step 6

Step 6
The prepared buckwheat porridge must be combined and mixed with the prepared vegetable mixture from the frying pan. The dish is ready! Buckwheat with green beans must be served hot. Ideally, this should be a freshly prepared dish; if necessary, it is advisable to reheat the cooled buckwheat. Bon appetit!
