Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to cook oatmeal in the microwave with milk? Prepare your food. You can take any oat flakes — both quick-cooking flakes and those that need to be cooked for a long time. With the latter, the flakes themselves will be more pronounced, and with the faster ones, the porridge will be softer. You can take cowʼs or goatʼs milk of any fat content, it all depends on your taste and capabilities. But the higher the fat content of the milk, the tastier the porridge will be, although it will be higher in calories.

Step 2

Step 2
Take a deep microwave-safe bowl and pour the oats into it. Pour in water and add salt. Turn on the microwave for 5 minutes at maximum power (mine is 1000 watts) and wait for the beep to finish cooking. If your microwave is less powerful, increase the cooking time by 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3
Remove the bowl from the microwave (be careful not to burn yourself!!!) and pour in the milk. Stir well as the porridge may stick to the bottom and then burn.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sugar to taste and stir.

Step 5

Step 5
Return the bowl of porridge to the microwave and turn it on for 3 minutes at maximum power. After the end of cooking beeps, leave the porridge inside for another 3 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
