Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake chicken with pear in the oven? Nothing could be easier! First, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. For this recipe, instead of a whole chicken, you can bake individual parts of it. You can add or replace spices to your liking.

Step 2

Step 2
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice and vegetable oil and mix thoroughly until smooth. When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a fairly salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk oversalting.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the chicken and dry it. Place in a bowl. Rub the inside and outside with spices. Coat the chicken with a mixture of soy sauce, lemon juice and oil. Leave to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature. If you marinate longer, put it in the refrigerator. About half an hour before cooking, turn on the oven at 190 degrees.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the pears, dry and cut into slices. Take pears that are fragrant, juicy and dense. Even at the stage of frying in a frying pan, soft fruits can spread into porridge, but we need the pears to retain their shape even after baking in the oven.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat a dry frying pan over high heat. I used a grill pan. Add the chopped pears and fry for 3-5 minutes until a clear pattern appears on the ribbed surface of the pan. Then turn over to the other side and fry until charred on the other side. It is better to cook in a non-stick pan. You will learn how to choose a frying pan from the articles at the end of this recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
Place a few slices of fried pears into the chicken belly. Tie the birdʼs legs. Cover the tips of the wings with foil. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Arrange the remaining pear slices around. Bake the bird in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 1 hour, periodically brushing the bird with the remaining marinade in the bowl. Step 7

Step 7
Place the baked chicken on a plate along with the pears and serve, garnished with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
