It cooks quickly, but turns out filling and tasty! I haven’t cooked chicken chops for a long time and I forgot how delicious it is. I decided to fill the gap and baked chicken chops with cheese in the oven. This dish tastes as good as it is easy to prepare.

Basic:

Tomatoes 2 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Hard cheese 80 g
Dry spices (chicken seasonings) 0.5 tsp
Mayonnaise 4 tbsp
Chicken fillet (2 pcs. thigh fillet or chicken breast) 500 g
Basil 0.5 tsp

How to make chicken chops with cheese in the oven? Prepare all ingredients. For this recipe, use chilled chicken fillet, but if you bought frozen, then defrost it slowly in the refrigerator so that the taste of the meat is preserved as much as possible. Choose tomatoes that are ripe but firm so that during baking they do not release excess juice and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Wash chicken fillet or chicken breast and dry with napkins or paper towels.

Cut each fillet lengthwise into 2 parts and beat with a hammer on both sides.

Brush the fillet with half the mayonnaise and sprinkle salt and spices on top. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Wash the tomatoes, cut into half rings.

Grate the cheese (choose a quality one and one that you like) on a coarse grater.

Transfer the fillets to a parchment-lined baking dish. Place tomato slices on top.
