Oven-Baked Chicken Fillet with Apples

Apples give incredible juiciness and flavor to chicken. I recommend! Last month I cooked chicken cutlets with cottage cheese and apple. I really liked the combination of apples and chicken. However, the cottage cheese greatly interrupted the taste of the apples. So next time I decided to find a recipe where there would be as much apples as meat. The results turned out to be very juicy and satisfying. It is better to take sweet and sour apples for them, but if you like very sweet varieties, you can use them too.

Basic:

Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Apples 1 pc
Hard cheese 80 g
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Chicken fillet 600 g

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare chicken fillet with apples in the oven we will need: large chicken fillet, large juicy sweet and sour apple, cheese, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, ground black pepper and salt.

Wash the chicken fillet and dry it. Cut each fillet lengthwise into 2-3 pieces. Beat each piece of chicken with a hammer on both sides. Salt and pepper the meat and leave for 20 minutes.

Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Grease the parchment with vegetable oil to prevent the chicken from burning or sticking. Place chicken fillet pieces on a baking sheet close to each other.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Wash the apple, dry it and cut it into thin slices or grate it on a coarse grater.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the chicken fillet pieces closer to each other. Place apples on each fillet.

Sprinkle grated cheese evenly on top.

Spread mayonnaise on top of the cheese. It is better to make a mesh of mayonnaise using a pastry bag. This will distribute the mayonnaise more evenly.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 35 minutes until the cheese and mayonnaise have a golden brown crust. Serve hot. Bon appetit!
