Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Dry spices (for chicken) to taste
Chicken (drumsticks, thighs, fillet) 1.2 kg
Prunes 100 g
Rosemary (2-3 branches) 10 g
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Quince (large) 1 pc

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chicken with quince in the oven? We will need: any parts of chicken (drumsticks, thighs, fillets) or whole chicken; large quince; prunes; fresh rosemary; soy sauce and spices for chicken. You can change the composition of spices, exclude prunes or add other ingredients: apples, onions, bell peppers and any others, combining them to your taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash and dry the chicken. If the chicken is whole, divide it into portions. Place the chicken in a baking dish. I covered the bottom and sides of the pan with foil to keep the juices from the chicken from sticking to the pan.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour soy sauce over the meat and sprinkle with chicken spices.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything thoroughly. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut the quince into large pieces, removing the seeds.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the quince pieces around the chicken. Fill the remaining gaps between the meat with prunes. Stick rosemary tassels between the quince and the chicken.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the chicken with quince and prunes in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour, periodically brushing the chicken with juice from the bottom of the pan. For the first 30 minutes, you can bake the chicken under foil to prevent the quince from burning. Then remove the foil and bake the chicken until golden brown. Bon appetit!
