Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make braised chicken breast in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary products. I have bone-in breast, but you can use ready-made chicken fillet. Use unscented vegetable oil.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the chicken breast and dry with paper towels. Remove the skin from the breast and carefully separate the fillet from the bones. Cut the fillet into desired size pieces.

Step 3

Step 3
Chop the pre-peeled onion into small pieces. The cutting shape is arbitrary. I cut the onion into thin half rings. Can be cut into small cubes.

Step 4

Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add chopped onions. Over medium heat, fry the onion for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Step 5
Increase the heat and fry the breast pieces until golden brown on one side first.

Step 6

Step 6
Turn the fillet pieces over to the other side and brown until golden brown, remembering to stir. Thanks to the golden brown crust formed on the surface of the pieces, the meat juice will remain sealed inside, and the breast will turn out juicy and soft.

Step 7

Step 7
In a small bowl, combine the flour with a small amount of cream, stir until the lumps disappear. Add the remaining cream, spices and herb mixture as desired and to taste. I used basil and Italian herbs.

Step 8

Step 8
Add prepared cream to the pan, add salt and stir. Bring the sauce to a boil.

Step 9

Step 9
Simmer the chicken breast over low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir and turn the pieces occasionally. At the end of cooking, cover the pan with a lid and let the dish sit for 5-7 minutes.

Step 10

Step 10
Serve stewed chicken breast with any side dish or fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
