Water (boiling water) 1 l
Rose hip 0.5 cup

How to brew rose hips without a thermos? Prepare everything you need. Rinse the rose hips and dry with napkins. The container in which we will brew rose hips can be anything but aluminum. I usually use a glass teapot with a brewing strainer.

Lightly mash the rose hips in a mortar. You can skip this step and brew the whole rosehip, only in this case you should slightly increase the infusion time of the drink.

Pour boiling water over the kettle so that the bottom and walls are not cold. Place the rose hips in the kettle. I had several fresh berries on hand and used them too.

Pour boiling water over the berries. It is better to use bottled or filtered water for brewing. Tap water will also work if you use it for drinking.

Close the kettle with a lid and wrap it in a warm small blanket or towel. Leave it to sit this way for at least one hour.
