Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make sauce with mayonnaise and fresh cucumbers? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Ideally, seasonal cucumbers are needed, but those sold in supermarkets in winter are also suitable for preparing such a sauce — this is not critical here!

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly and cut off the ends. If the skin is bitter or very tough, cut off the skin too. Gently grate the cucumbers on a fine grater. Add chopped cucumbers to the bowl with mayonnaise.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash fresh dill, shake thoroughly, remove low-quality branches (dry or rotten) and chop finely. If the stems are thick and tough, then cut them off and use them to prepare other dishes (for example, borscht or rassolnik). Add chopped greens to mayonnaise and cucumbers. Peel the garlic, grate it on a fine grater and add it to the previously prepared products.

Step 4

Step 4
Salt and pepper the prepared ingredients and mix carefully. The sauce with mayonnaise and cucumbers is ready! It is not advisable to store the finished dish in the refrigerator for a long time (due to the presence of perishable cucumber juice), so plan to prepare the sauce with mayonnaise and cucumbers in a small portion for once or twice. Bon appetit!
