Honey 2 tbsp
Mustard 2 tbsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make honey mustard sauce? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take liquid honey. If you have it candied, then you should first melt it in a water bath. I use regular flower honey. With chestnut or buckwheat, the taste of the sauce will be more tart. You can use any mustard for the sauce. I used Russian. The type of mustard affects the taste of the sauce. With Russian mustard it turns out slightly spicy, but with French mustard, on the contrary, it turns out even sweeter.

Step 2

Step 2
In a bowl or bowl, combine honey, olive oil, mustard, lemon juice and beat everything until smooth using a mixer or whisk. First, it is better to simply mix the ingredients so that the olive oil combines with honey and lemon juice and only then begin to fully whisk. If you start whisking immediately without mixing first, the light olive oil may splash out of the bowl.

Step 3

Step 3
Add salt and pepper to the sauce to taste and whisk again until the salt crystals dissolve.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour the finished sauce into a special gravy boat with a spout.

Step 5

Step 5
Honey mustard sauce should be stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for no more than a week. Bon appetit!
