Garlic Cream Shrimp Sauce

Will highlight the taste of shrimp cooked in any way. Thick sauce with an amazing aroma based on cream. One has only to dip a sweetish shrimp in such a sauce, and its taste will reveal a new side. After all, the spicy sauce with garlic contrasts precisely with these crustaceans.

Heavy cream 250 ml

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare the sauce you will need a small saucepan or ladle. It is necessary to melt a piece of butter in a selected fireproof container until liquid. It can initially be either at room temperature or fresh from the refrigerator. With soft butter, the sauce will cook faster by only half a minute.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the garlic cloves and chop into small cubes. I find it most convenient to chop garlic with a large, sharp knife. Place the garlic in a saucepan with the oil and fry it for a couple of minutes until golden brown. Stir the garlic constantly and watch its color, as due to the large amount of sugar it contains, garlic can burn very quickly.

Step 3

Step 3
Itʼs time to pour dry white wine into the saucepan. Mix the sauce base and simmer for five to seven minutes. In cooking, only dry wine is traditionally used for sauces. Semi-sweet, beloved by many, will not fit here.

Step 4

Step 4
It is necessary to bring the future sauce until the wine has almost completely evaporated. Only a small part of it should remain in the saucepan.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour heavy cream into the saucepan and add salt to the shrimp sauce to taste. Within ten minutes of simmering over low heat (without a lid), the cream should thicken. Once this happens, the sauce can be removed from the heat and it is ready to serve.
