Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 1 clove
Water 1.5 cup
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Turmeric to taste
Round rice 1 cup
Soy sauce 2 tbsp

How to cook rice with soy sauce? First, collect all the products. This dish can be made either on the stove in a saucepan or in the microwave. I like the second option better. In my opinion, the rice turns out much tastier.

Crush a clove of garlic with the back of a knife, peel it, cut it into petals and fry it in a frying pan in vegetable oil.

Rinse the rice well in several waters, one of which may be hot — it washes out the rice flour more thoroughly. Drain excess liquid from rice through a colander.

Add the washed rice to the fried garlic — you can remove it from the pan if desired, or leave it.

Fill the rice with water, first in a 1:1 ratio, i.e. add 1 glass of water.

Turn on the microwave at maximum power for 10 minutes. Or cook in a cauldron or saucepan until the water evaporates.

Add soy sauce and stir the rice. Pour in half a glass of water, set the microwave power to 80% for 8 minutes. Or return the cauldron or pan to the stove and bring to readiness. For a richer color, add turmeric to the rice.

The rice turns out very aromatic, golden, appetizing. Serve it with herbs as a side dish for meat, chicken, and fish.
