Ingredients (10 portions)

Basic:

Sugar (1 spoon for dough and 2 spoons for sprinkling) 3 tbsp
Wheat flour 220 g
Milk 50 ml
Eggs 1 pc
Sour cream (any fat content, mine is 25%) 3 tbsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Dry yeast 1 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake homemade cookies with sour cream and yeast without margarine in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use sour cream of any fat content, but note that the fattier the product, the higher the calorie content of the cookies. I have 25%. Remove the sour cream and egg from the refrigerator in advance.

Step 2

Step 2
Heat the milk a little and add yeast, a tablespoon of sugar and sour cream. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to your taste. Mix everything and leave for 10-15 minutes to activate the yeast. The milk should be just warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Read about other nuances of working with yeast in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat the egg into a separate container and lightly beat it with a whisk and fork until the yolk and white are combined.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour the egg into the yeast mixture and stir.

Step 5

Step 5
Sift the flour through a sieve. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished cookies will turn out more tender and fluffy. Add the flour to the liquid ingredients little by little, stirring thoroughly each time.

Step 6

Step 6
You may need a little more or a little less flour than the specified amount. Focus on the consistency of the dough; it should be soft, but keep the shape of a ball. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Leave the container with the dough in a warm place for about 1 hour. It should increase by about 1.5 times.

Step 8

Step 8
Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Dust the work surface with flour, place the dough on it (for convenience, I divided it into two parts) and roll it into a layer about 0.5 cm thick. You can make the layer thinner, then the cookies will turn out crispier.

Step 9

Step 9
Cut out cookie dough from the dough. I used molds. You can also use a glass or shot glass for this.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment. I have a siliconized one. Grease future cookies with vegetable oil and sprinkle with sugar. Bake cookies at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. It should increase in size and lightly brown. The exact time depends on your oven. 20 minutes was enough for me. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 11

Step 11
Cool the finished cookies and serve. Bon appetit!
