How to make tuna cheese sandwiches? Prepare your food. Take any bread — white, rye, or whole grain flour will do. One sandwich requires two slices. I have a regular loaf. Choose tuna canned in its own juice, so that the composition contains only fish and salt. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.

Any greens will do — dill, parsley, green onions. Wash, dry it and chop it finely, tearing off the thick stems.

Wash the tomato, dry it and cut it into slices.

Drain the liquid from the jar and place the fish in a bowl. Mash it with a fork until it becomes a pate. Add mayonnaise and mustard there. It’s better to take mustard that is not spicy, tasty, I have it with grains. Add greens. Mix the tuna spread well. To taste, you can add chopped red onion, lemon juice, boiled egg.

Take a piece of bread. Spread the tuna salad on it in a fairly thick layer. Place a couple of tomato slices on top.

Place cheese on the tomato. I have sliced hard cheese, you can grate regular cheese on a coarse grater. Spread the second slice of bread on one side with soft butter. A very thin layer is needed, just so that the sandwich is fried to a crisp. Cover the sandwich, buttered side up. Flip the sandwich over and butter the bottom piece in the same manner. Prepare the second sandwich in the same way.

Heat a frying pan over low heat. Place sandwiches on it. Fry them until golden brown, then turn them over to the other side. Cover the pan with a lid and wait until the cheese melts. Remove sandwiches from pan and serve immediately.
