Basic:

Onion 2 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Ground red pepper to taste
Flour 2 tbsp
Perch (small size) 5 pc

How to fry river perch in flour with onions in a frying pan? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients. If you have frozen perch, you should first defrost it. Read about how to do this correctly in the article at the end of the recipe.

Gut the fish and remove scales. Be careful not to get hurt! Perch has very sharp fins and hard scales. I usually use a special device to clean this fish. Rinse the carcasses under running cold water and dry with paper towels.

Sprinkle the perch on all sides with your favorite spices, ground pepper and salt. Using massaging movements, distribute the spices evenly over the surface of the fish.

Roll the perch in flour.

Turn the perch over to the other side and leave until the fish is completely cooked. Peel the onion, rinse and cut into thin feathers. I used onions and red lettuce.

Place the onion in the frying pan and distribute it between the fish carcasses. Leave it like this for a minute or two.

Sprinkle the finished dish with ground black pepper if desired and garnish with fresh herbs.
