Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make shrimp in a frying pan in a creamy sauce? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose the largest shrimp. They are easier to clean. You can also take already peeled ones. But keep in mind that the shrimp will shrink in size when cooked.

Step 2

Step 2
Shrimp should be thawed at room temperature. Then remove the shell from the shrimp. Never defrost shrimp in warm water. This will remove all the juice from them and they will be dry when finished.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat a deep frying pan until hot and melt the butter in it. Peel and chop the garlic. Place in hot oil. Fry for a minute over low heat. The garlic will give off its aroma to the oil.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour cream into the pan. Bring to a boil and heat through. You can use cream of any fat content. The higher the fat content of the cream, the creamier the shrimp will taste. I have 33% cream. I like them for their thickness. Due to the high fat content of the cream, the sauce becomes thicker.

Step 5

Step 5
Place prepared shrimp in cream. Simmer them over low heat for 8-10 minutes. Add some salt. You can add a little ground pepper.

Step 6

Step 6
During cooking, the sauce will change color and become the same shade as the shrimp. The shrimp themselves will decrease in size.

Step 7

Step 7
Shrimp in creamy sauce is ready! Sprinkle them with fresh parsley and serve hot. Bon appetit!
