Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to deliciously stew minced meat with onions in a frying pan? Prepare your food. Minced meat is suitable from any meat — beef, pork, chicken, turkey and a mixture of them. I have beef/pork. Instead of tomatoes and tomato sauce, I took ready-made chopped tomatoes in their own juice. You can also take ketchup or tomato paste. Take any spices, I use Italian herbs.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Chop the peeled garlic clove. If you are using fresh tomatoes, cut them into cubes. It is not necessary to remove the skin.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat a frying pan over low heat. Pour vegetable oil on it for frying. Add onion and garlic to oil. Fry them, stirring, for a few minutes until soft. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
Add minced meat to the pan. Fry it, stirring and breaking up lumps, until the color changes.

Step 5

Step 5
Then add tomatoes with tomato sauce (ketchup, paste, chopped tomatoes in their own juice) to the minced meat. Salt and pepper, add spices. Mix the minced meat with the additives.

Step 6

Step 6
Cover the pan with a lid and turn the heat to low. If necessary, add a little hot water to the minced meat. Adjust its quantity to the desired thickness of the dish. Simmer the minced meat for about 30-40 minutes. The exact time will depend on the type and type of meat.

Step 7

Step 7
Serve the minced meat with any side dish; I boiled spaghetti for it. Bon appetit!
