Spinach 500 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make spinach in a pan with cream? First of all, prepare all the products indicated on the list. Spinach can be used either fresh or frozen. I used parmesan cheese, crushed into thin flakes. You can use any hard or soft cheese to taste. Russian, gouda, cheddar, lambert or mozzarella are perfect. So, sort out the spinach leaves and wash them thoroughly. Drain the spinach on paper towels and pat dry.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour the cream into a deep small bowl, add flour and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside.

Step 3

Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed, high-rimmed frying pan.

Step 4

Step 4
Tear the spinach leaves by hand or cut them into 2-4 pieces with a knife. Add the spinach to the pan.

Step 5

Step 5
Stirring, simmer over medium heat for about 4-7 minutes. If the contents of the pan begin to burn, reduce the flame.

Step 6

Step 6
Salt the spinach to taste. If you have nutmeg on hand, use it for the recipe. It fits perfectly with all components and adds a special twist.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour the cream and flour mixture into the pan. Bring everything to a boil. Reduce the flame to low and simmer the spinach under the lid for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8

Sprinkle the contents of the pan with grated cheese and leave on the stove until the cheese has completely melted.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve creamed spinach and cheese immediately hot as a meal on its own, or on top of fish and more.
