Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
We prepare all our ingredients. A few words about spices: I used paprika, coriander, rosemary and basil. You can take your favorite herbs and spices.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the meat into medium-sized cubes.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the onion into thin half rings.

Step 4

Step 4
Carrots — small cubes.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the prunes thoroughly and cut them into halves.

Step 6

Step 6
Set the multicooker to frying mode. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl and gradually add the meat into it, frying it until golden brown.

Step 7

Step 7
We remove the fried meat from the bowl and put the onion in its place. Fry it until soft.

Step 8

Step 8
Add carrots to the onions and continue frying at the same mode for another 5-7 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Return the meat to the multicooker bowl. Add sour cream, spices, bay leaf, salt and ground black pepper.

Step 10

Step 10
Fill the contents of the bowl with water to such a level that it covers the meat, vegetables and spices by a centimeter. Mix everything well. Simmer with the lid closed for 75-90 minutes in the “Stew” mode.

Step 11

Step 11
Then add prunes to the bowl and simmer in the same mode for another half hour. If you see that there is still a lot of water in the bowl at this point, you can switch to the “Frying” mode and control the process of evaporation of the liquid until the meat is cooked. Serve the finished beef with prunes with your favorite side dish — for example, tender mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!
