Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make cod fillet in a slow cooker? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Any cod fillet is suitable for this dish. This can be frozen fillet in briquettes, or a whole piece of fresh fish. Choose the option that you can get. You can add vegetables to your taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the cod fillet and dry. If the fillet is frozen, there is no need to rinse it; just defrost it first on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator and drain the released water. Sprinkle the prepared fish with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. I used cherry tomatoes, but you can also use regular strong tomatoes, just not very large and small in diameter. Plum tomatoes are suitable.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press. My cloves are quite large, so I took 3 pieces, if you have small cloves, you can take more.

Step 5

Step 5
Rinse the parsley, dry and finely chop. In addition to parsley, you can use other herbs to taste: dill, cilantro, etc. Or make a mixture of different herbs. The dish will only benefit from this.

Step 6

Step 6
In a bowl, combine garlic with chopped herbs and stir.

Step 7

Step 7
Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil. Place the fish fillet in the pan. It is better to do this before placing tomatoes and herbs on the fillet.

Step 8

Step 8
Spread the herb and garlic mixture on top.

Step 9

Step 9
Place the tomatoes cut into slices on top of the greens. Drizzle everything with the remaining olive oil.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the dish with the fish in the slow cooker. Set the device to the “Stewing” or “Baking” mode for 20-25 minutes. Some people cook fish using the Multipova mode. Choose whichever mode suits you best. I chose the “Extinguishing” mode. Twenty minutes was enough for the fish to be ready.

Step 11

Step 11
Place the fish with tomatoes and herbs on plates and serve immediately. Bon appetit!
