How to make French fries in the microwave? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For spices, I used ground black pepper and nutmeg. You can choose according to your taste. Dried basil, paprika, and turmeric are perfect for potatoes. You can do without spices entirely and sprinkle the potatoes only with salt.

Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into strips.

Place potato wedges on a microwave plate. If you wish, you can cover it with parchment.

Drizzle the potatoes with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and other spices, if using. Microwave the plate.

Cooking time depends primarily on the microwave. Turn it on for 7 minutes at full power first. Next, if the potatoes are not cooked, add 1-2 minutes at a time. It took me 11 minutes.
