Basic:

Onion (medium size) 1 pc
Garlic 1 clove
Olive oil (or any other plant) 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ground hot pepper to taste
Wheat flour (with a slide) 1 tsp
Hard cheese 50 g
Bacon 50 g
Chicken fillet 300 g
Cream (fat content 20%) 250 g
Basil (a couple of twigs) 8 leaf
Fettuccine 250 g

How to make fettuccine pasta with chicken in creamy sauce? Prepare your ingredients. Clean the chicken of any excess. Wash and dry it. Wash and dry the greens and peel the onions and garlic. To speed up the cooking process, immediately put a pot of water on the fire to cook the pasta and a frying pan to prepare the sauce.

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater.

Heat a little olive oil in a hot frying pan (if you don’t have it, use any other vegetable oil) and quickly fry the pieces of meat on all sides, stirring them with a spatula.

While the chicken fillet is frying, finely chop the onion, bacon (or balyk) and garlic clove.

Transfer the finished chicken fillet to a plate. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan again and fry the bacon in it for 1 minute. Then add chopped onion to it. Stir and fry everything together for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Return the chicken to the pan with the onions.

Add wheat flour to the meat, as well as a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir.

Pour cream into the pan.

And over low heat, stirring occasionally, simmer the sauce until thickened.

At the very end, add a clove of garlic and a handful of grated hard cheese (about half of the total amount) to the sauce. Heat the sauce for a few more minutes until the cheese is completely melted. At the very end, taste the sauce and, if necessary, season it with more salt and pepper.

Prepare the pasta at the same time as the cream sauce. Bring 3 liters of water to a boil in a saucepan, add salt and place the fettuccine in the water. Cook the pasta until al dente (the inside of the pasta should remain slightly firm). To avoid overcooking the pasta, follow the instructions on the package.

Place the finished pasta in a sieve, lightly sprinkle with olive oil and stir. By the way, be sure to save some of the water in which the pasta was cooked (about 250 g), we will need it to dilute our sauce a little.

Place al dente cooked pasta into the prepared creamy sauce with chicken in a frying pan.

And stir. If the sauce is thick, add a little water in which the pasta was cooked and mix everything thoroughly. Warm pasta in sauce for 2 minutes and serve immediately.
