Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry vermicelli in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients immediately, as this dish is made in almost a matter of minutes. Pre-boil the water and keep it hot, you will also need a frying pan. It is best to use a non-stick frying pan so that the vermicelli can be easily mixed and not stick to the bottom.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour oil into a frying pan and place it over medium heat. Heat the oil for a few minutes. Place vermicelli in the pan. The so-called “Spider Web” is best suited for this dish. It is usually made from durum wheat flour, which helps it subsequently remain dense and not boil over or stick together. You can replace vegetable oil with butter, it will give a creamy taste, but will increase the number of calories.

Step 3

Step 3
Fry the vermicelli, stirring, for 3-7 minutes. It all depends on the desired degree of roasting. The stronger it is, the stronger the roasted flavor and the more intense the color.

Step 4

Step 4
Add salt to the pan with noodles.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour in the hot water very carefully as it will begin to boil and splash.

Step 6

Step 6
Close the lid, reduce the heat slightly and cook the vermicelli for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook until the water is completely absorbed and evaporated. The vermicelli should become soft, as when it is cooked in the usual way. If the water has already boiled away and the vermicelli is not ready yet, add more.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the dish from the heat, divide among plates and serve immediately. This fried vermicelli can be served as a side dish with absolutely any meat or fish dish. The same sauces go with it as with any pasta. And if you add fried vegetables to it, you will get an excellent Lenten second course, which will diversify your table during Lent.
