Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a fluffy omelette in the microwave with milk and eggs? Prepare all the necessary products. Take large eggs, preferably homemade ones, or at least CO eggs. Check eggs for freshness before use. Place them in a container with water at room temperature: If the eggs sink to the bottom, they are fresh. Those that emerge are no longer fresh.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the eggs well — this is a must, because... the shell contains many bacteria. Gently beat the eggs into a deep bowl. The ingredients for the omelette will be mixed quite intensively, so the dishes should be deep enough.

Step 3

Step 3
Mix the eggs with a fork.

Step 4

Step 4
Add some salt. I use regular coarse sea salt, but it could also be salt with additives: for example, Adyghe salt. You can also pepper the omelette mixture to taste or add some other spices and seasonings.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour in the milk. This can be regular milk of animal origin of any degree of fat content, as well as any plant milk. Calculate the amount of milk as follows: for one egg, take the amount of milk that fits in half the shell of this egg.

Step 6

Step 6
Stir the omelette mixture. I have a classic omelette without additives, but if you wish, you can add pieces of tomato, sweet pepper, bacon, fresh herbs, onions and garlic — all this will be very appropriate. Grated cheese, fried mushrooms and pieces of chicken or fish are also suitable.

Step 7

Step 7
Prepare microwave-safe dishes. I remind you that under no circumstances should you use metal products, as well as dishes with a shiny pattern, in microwaves. Glass, porcelain, wood and even paper dishes are great. I have a wooden one. If necessary, grease the dishes with a small amount of vegetable oil.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the omelette mixture into the bowl. Microwave for 1.5 to 4 minutes. The time is indicated approximately, as it will depend on the power and operating characteristics of your microwave, as well as the size of the dish in which you will cook the omelet. It took me 3.5 minutes to cook. Read about the intricacies of cooking food in the microwave in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the omelette immediately. Bon appetit!
